Think Tank staff acknowledges the support of UA faculty, instructors and staff for their active collaboration to fulfill its mission to help students become independent learners.

To refer a UA student for academic or retention support, download the UA Student Referral form , which will be available soon, complete and sign, and give the student to present to Think Tank front desk staff upon arrival.

Faculty and staff who have workshop or collaboration ideas or who teach a specific course they would like the Think Tank to support, please email us at think@email.arizona.edu.

All UA students and faculty are invited to contact the staff of the Student Academic Learning Center to request the addition of courses not currently supported by the Think Tank. Weekly coursework reviews or tutoring can be added if suitable expertise exists with staff.

Learning Services Council:

The Think Tank at the Student Academic Learning Center is seeking faculty, staff,and students to serve on the Learning Services Council for the 2009-2010 year.This group will meet on a monthly basis to discuss and provide feedback on how the Think Tank can most effectively collaborate and serve academic colleges,faculty,students and the campus as a whole.The main purpose of the working group will be to foster open lines of communication around topics such as academic integrity, tutoring versus teaching,and how best to align our services with faculty, departmental,and student expectations.
