The Think Tank offers a comprehensive range of Science tutoring and support services to serve the diverse needs of all UA students. Our CRLA-certified tutors understand that science tutoring is not just about helping you learn key terminology and processes, but about understanding what it means to think like a scientist. We offer tutoring in most Biology, Chemistry, and Physics courses.
And even though we don’t have a lab on-site doesn’t mean we don’t know our way around a lab manual. Drop-in with your lab questions and odds are that one of our tutors can help you get started.
Drop-in Science tutoring is free to all UA students.
The Think Tank provides individualized tutoring available in some highly enrolled courses. Don’t wait until it’s too late, schedule an appointment with us today. This is a fee-based service.

Weekly Course Reviews are free, one-hour study sessions that occur once a week. Tutors work with groups of approximately 15-20 students to review course content, clarify assignments, and provide general academic help.
Need help preparing for that big midterm or final? Don’t panic. The Think Tank offers two-hour, course specific exam reviews in some highly enrolled courses. Our tutors will work with you to identify potential test questions from lecture notes and assignments, practice effective test-taking strategies, and get one last study session in before the big day!
These sessions are delivered by undergraduate tutors, supervised by graduate assistants. This is a fee-based service.
